Children’s Easter Egg Hunt

Eggs in Basket

Normal Entry Fees apply with a £1 charge for the Easter Egg Trail.

A firm favourite with our regular visitors, Picton Castle’s Ester Egg Trail for children is a self-guided scamper through fabulous woodlands as they burst into bloom.  Collect your leaflet at the Ticket Office and follow the trail, finding clues along the way, when you have finished pop into the shop to collect your prize.  It’s a great way for the whole family to enjoy the woodlands as masses of Rhododendrons, Azaleas and Magnolias come into flower – while the kids rush around in search of clues, adults can enjoy the magnificent colours and scents.  After the walk, what better reward than hot chocolate with cream and a homemade cake in the Castle Restaurant, or perhaps make it a lunchtime visit and enjoy the Spanish dish of the day with a glass of wine or beer.
