Harness Blessing at Picton Castle
THE FIRST HARNESS BLESSING IN WALES HELD AT PICTON CASTLE, PEMBROKESHIRE Sunday 10th April
Picton welcomed for the first time in Wales The Dyfed Carriage Club Harness Horse Blessing ceremony. A variety of horses and carriages were on show for this blessing in the beautiful grounds of the medieval castle. The blessing was carried out by the Vicar of Narberth the Rev Peter Thomas.
The rosette awards for the concours d’elegance were awarded by the new High Sheriff of Dyfed Mr Tom Lloyd OBE. The Picton Castle Trust are delighted and honoured to have hosted this magical event.
