Richard Weeks Small Gallery Event
Born in Hampton Court, the town not the palace! Richard spent his working life as a Design and Development engineer in Hampshire. Richard has loved art since he was a young boy and loved to draw aircraft and birds he began to paint about thirty years ago when his wife bought him a set of paints to fend off boredom during a very wet holiday in Cornwall, over the subsequent years he has experimented with various painting media and has developed his own instinctive techniques. Richard’s paintings range from semi-impressionistic to detailed representations as well as working in 3D and sculpting.
Exhibiting from 1st July to 31st July 2011

Dear Richard,
Hi, great painting, of a red kite (http://www.pictoncastle.co.uk/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/Red-Kite.png)! I love those birds!
Richard, what do (or did) you design and develop? Are you now retired (I am, but I was in the hotel industry — among other things)? I do not paint myself (yet), though there have been several painters in my family, including my father. (He did it only as a hobby, but his oldest brother was a great painter in Puerto Rico, where they grew up, he was also a professor of art at the University of P.R.)
Well congratulations, and thanks for your works!
