Your Wedding Day
The wedding party can arrive in style and drive straight up to the Castle’s impressive forecourt on the day of the ceremony.
The Registrar is required to have a private, individual interview with both the bride and groom before the ceremony. This takes place within Picton’s beautiful library.
The Bride has use of a dressing room within the castle so that her bridal party can prepare before the ceremony.
The Registrar, Groom and wedding guests then await the arrival of the Bride in the Great Hall. Bride’s can choose to have a musical introduction as they enter. The Great Hall has amazing acoustics; wedding couples have hired harpists, solo singers, guitarists and pianists. You are welcome to use our beautiful Steinway grand piano, one of the finest of its kind in Wales.
After the ceremony, you have the option to use the remaining time in the Castle’s state rooms for a champagne reception. Guests are able to wander from room to room; taking in the impressive interiors. This allows for fantastic photo opportunities within the castle and outside too. Delicious canapés can also be provided by Maria’s restaurant.
