Children’s Easter Egg Trail

Easter Bank Holiday Weekend

Friday 30 March – Monday 2 April

Eggs in Basket

A firm favourite with our regular visitors, Picton Castle’s Easter Egg Trail for children is a self-guided scamper through fabulous woodlands as they burst into bloom.  Collect your leaflet at the Ticket Office and follow the trail – you will find clues along the way!

It’s a great way for the whole family to enjoy the woodlands as masses of Rhododendrons, Azaleas and Magnolias come into flower.  While the kids rush around in search of clues, the ‘grown-ups’ can enjoy the magnificent colours and scents of the Gardens.

After the walk, what better reward than a nice warming cup of hot chocolate with cream and a homemade cake in the Courtyard Coffee Shop, Restaurant and Deli, or enjoy something from Maria’s fabulously tasty, freshly cooked lunchtime menu!

Normal Garden Entry Fees apply with a £1.50 charge for the Easter Egg Trail
