Just Bring Some Gloves, an Apron and Secateurs
Decorating the home with evergreens has been popular since the pre-Christian age but Christmas decorations became a more elaborate affair during the reign of Queen Victoria. With its wealth of history, Picton Castle provides the perfect setting for the traditional Victorian Christmas decorations that we so carefully dress our wonderful staterooms with each year, and you too can be inspired at our Christmas Wreath Making Workshops. Owing to its popularity – we now have two workshops for you to choose from this year!
This wonderful event has always been popular at Picton and it will really get you into the festive spirit as you make your very own personalised Christmas Wreath with our in-house florist, Elsa Sharp. All you need to bring are gloves. apron and secateurs – all other materials are supplied. Simple! So, kick back, forget the shopping, take a morning or an afternoon for yourself and come and join in! The cost of the workshop will include a seasonally warming glass of mulled wine or spiced apple juice and a mince pie.You can book your place online below or call 01437 751326.
