The Welsh Owl Garden and Zoo

The Welsh Owl Garden & Zoo has recently undergone a huge transformation! The zoo has doubled in size and inhabitants! There are still over 25 species of owls and exotic birds on display, but we are also now home to many other mammals and reptiles including our famous otter Freddie!

Entrance to The Welsh Owl Garden & Zoo is included with garden admission.

From 1st April onwards, the daily schedule at owl Garden is as follows:

11.00am- Flying display in the Owl Garden arena

12.00pm- Otter talk and feed

1.00pm-Flying display in the Owl Garden arena

2.00pm- Close encounters with reptiles

3.00pm- Large bird flying display on the south lawn in front of the castle (subject to weather conditions*)

Please be aware that dogs are not permitted in The Welsh Owl Garden & Zoo, and must be kept on leads throughout the rest of the grounds.

*In the event of extremely hot weather or torrential rain, the large bird flying display will be cancelled.
