Toy event: 29th & 30th July
West Wales Modellers in our Courtyard Gallery, with their collection of quirky, skillfully, hand-made models.
“Treasures from Childhood”: Toy exhibition in our Studio Gallery. Toys generously donated by Mr & Mrs Stimson, from Pembroke
Children bringing their own favourite toy will get half-price entrance: £3 (5-16). Children under 5’s come in free. Free children’s garden trail with a little prize when you work out the phrase.

Picton Dog show
We are having a Companion Dog Show in the wonderful surroundings of Picton Castle on Saturday 10th August. We also have 40 acres of beautiful woodland gardens for you and your dog to explore! Gardens open 10am-5pm
10am-12noon: DOG AGILITY, 2pm-4pm: DOG SHOW with novelty classes. Free to enter, just register on the day.

Children 5-16: £6
Under 5’s: FREE

Dog show stalls
If you have a dog related stall, then pitches are available at £30 for non- charities and free for charities. The pitches are all outside and we ask that you provide your own table and gazebo. Porsches at Picton
The South Wales Porsche Club will be visiting on 21st July and will be parked on our castle forecourt.

Art Galleries
We have re-named our “Small Gallery”, situated next to the shop, the “Studio Gallery”.
We feel this new title better evokes its light, airy space, plus giving a nod to its former use at an artist studio.
Studio Gallery Artists: Gill Farrington during August and Judy Maynard during September
Ray Burnell is in the Courtyard gallery until end September

Calling all Volunteers
- Are you able to volunteer at this fabulous location?
- We need assistance in the Gift Shop and Ticket Office
- Running Guided Tours of the Castle and looking after large groups
- Assisting with our regular programme of events including our Christmas Markets, Concerts, Wedding and Country Fairs, and many more!
As well as enjoying some good company and having fun, volunteers are given full training and offered a discount in the shop and plant sales area, as well as invitations to social events and mileage. Plus a season ticket is given after 50 working hours.

Access to the castle is by guided tour only. We would advise parents/guardians that our castle tour is not suitable for very young children as the tour lasts approximately 50 minutes and is detailed and informative. In the school holidays we try to offer family friendly tours daily, which are more suitable.
