Gardens
Situated close to the Cleddau Estuary, known locally as the ‘hidden waterway’, Picton Castle comprises 40 acres of some of the most beautiful woodland gardens and grounds in West Wales.
Stroll beneath some of the largest and oldest trees in West Wales and discover woodland walks, ferns, a maze and abundant feasts of wild flowers that blend with unusual woodland shrubs from all corners of the world.
Volunteering
VOLUNTEERS NEEDED TO HELP AT FAIRY TALE CASTLEPicton Castle and Gardens is a fairy tale castle with enchanting gardens, just a few miles from Haverfordwest. As well as being an important part of the county’s history it, it is a popular destination for locals and tourists alike and attracts thousands of visitors each year. Now Picton Castle is inviting local residents to take part in running it.
